1.Discipline Overview

Dedicated to technological innovation and serving the society, the School of Advanced Engineering endeavors to establish an advanced engineering discipline system with distinctive GBA characteristics. In line with national strategic planning and regional development needs, we emphasize interdisciplinary collaboration, technology integration, and sector convergence to continuously enhance our core competitiveness and industry influence. Oriented towards global technological innovation and the modern industrial system, we integrate resources to focus on the major strategic needs of national development, thereby driving technological transformation and industrial upgrading. With a team of top scholars from both domestically and internationally, we aim to strategically focus on core and key technologies, comprehensively understand future industrial trends, and specifically support research in fields such as robotics and autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, industrial engineering and data science, smart manufacturing and design, sustainable development systems, microelectronics, and integrated circuits. We are committed to making remarkable contributions to the high-quality development of the national economy.

2.Research Directions

Intelligent Science and Technology

We plan and establish a first-level discipline in intelligent science and technology, and focus on fields and related majors in robotics & autonomous systems, artificial intelligence applications, smart manufacturing, and intelligent design.


Green Energy and Sustainable Engineering

We plan and establish a first-level discipline in energy dynamics, and focus on fields and related majors in sustainable energy, new energy science & engineering, green low-carbon technologies, and smart & biomimetic energy systems.

Information and Communication Engineering

We plan and establish a first-level discipline in information and communication engineering, and focus on fields and related majors in communication engineering, microelectronics science & engineering, integrated circuit design, and electronic systems.

Management Science and Industrial Engineering

We plan and establish a first-level discipline in management science and engineering, and focus on fields and related majors in industrial engineering, smart supply chains, complex system modeling & decision-making, industrial data analysis & mining, and industrial Internet.
