【Research Interest】

Multiscale simulations of the mechanisms and dynamics of reactions in solutions, catalysis, materials, and biological systems;

Reactive force field development and programming;

【Main Achievements】

Dr. Zhang has been awarded both the general and special grants from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and the youth fund of Guangdong Basic and Applied Basic Research Foundation. In the last five years, he has published 15 first- and corresponding-authored research articles in SCI journals including Nat. Commun., JACS Au, Chem. Sci. and J. Chem. Theory Comput., some of which have been highlighted by famous social medias, such as ACS wechat platform and XMOL. Meanwhile, Dr. Zhang is serving for the developments of the “free energy perturbation” module in QBICS, a general computational chemistry and biology software founded in China, and has also contributed to QoMMMa (a QM/MM program) and EVB-Tinker software.
